Sharon van Geldere (she/her) is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Public Administration. She is interested in studying interest representation, interest organisations, political attitudes, citizen participation, political mobilisation, social justice and equity policy issues.
Sharon van Geldere (she/her) is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Public Administration. She is interested in studying interest representation, interest organisations, political attitudes, citizen participation, political mobilisation, social justice and equity policy issues.
Her PhD research focuses on citizens’ feelings of representation, citizens’ perceptions and preferences towards interest organisations and their strategies, and citizens’ lobbying behaviour.
In her research, Sharon van Geldere departs from critical lenses, and adopts different methods such as survey experiments, vignette interviews and ethnographic fieldwork.
