Sharon van Geldere is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Public Administration. She is interested in studying interest representation, interest organisations, citizen participation, political mobilisation and political attitudes.
Sharon van Geldere is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Public Administration. She is interested in studying interest representation, interest organisations, citizen participation, political mobilisation and political attitudes.
Her PhD research focuses on citizens’ feelings of representation, citizens’ perceptions and preferences towards interest organisations and their strategies, and citizens’ lobbying behaviour.
In her research, Sharon van Geldere adopts different methods such as survey experiments, vignette interviews and ethnographic fieldwork.
