Rik Rozendaal is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at Leiden University.
His research is in environmental macroeconomics. In particular, he studies the effects of climate policy on clean and dirty innovation and the distributional effects of climate policy. He does both theoretical and empirical work.
Rik expects to defend his PhD at Tilburg University in 2024. He holds a Research Master’s degree from Tilburg University (2020) and a Bachelor’s degree from Maastricht University (2018). In 2023 he was a visiting researcher at Resources for the Future in Washington, DC.
