Rik Rozendaal is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at Leiden University.
Rik holds a PhD in economics from Tilburg University (2024). He received his Research Master’s degree from Tilburg University (2020) and his Bachelor’s degree from Maastricht University (2018). In 2023 he was a visiting researcher at Resources for the Future in Washington, DC.
His research is in environmental macroeconomics. In particular, he studies the effects of climate policy on clean and dirty innovation and the distributional effects of climate policy. He does both theoretical and empirical work.
