My research focusses on the development and application of genetically engineered model systems, including mouse models of (BRCA1-associated) breast cancer and human induced pluripotent stem cell models for chemical hazard characterization. In my current position, I combine these research interests to gain insight in chemical-induced carcinogenesis, with emphasis on non-genotoxic mechanisms of action.
