Olga Snip (M.Sc.) is a PhD student at the Division of Biopharmaceutics.
Olga Snip is a PhD student in Biopharmaceutical Sciences interested in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Particularly, the targeting of macrophages to induce atherosclerosis regression. Her present studies aim to validate the importance of macrophage ABCA1-mediated cholesterol efflux as a possible strategy for the induction of atherosclerosis regression. In addition, Olga is a member of the LACDR Institute Council, which offers the LACDR Management Team solicited and unsolicited advice on various matters of policy. Before commencing her PhD program at the Leiden University, Olga studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in cardiovascular diseases and experimental immunology.
