My research falls at the intersection of three fields: computer hardware, finite field arithmetic and cryptography. I am interested in finding and exploiting mathematical properties to optimize hardware, to narrow the design space, and to aid in design automation. I graduated at Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and at the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, University of Waterloo, Canada. In the past years I was involved in cipher and hardware design for submissions to the NIST Lightweight Cryptography Project. I am currently working on the PROACT project, see right.
