Moniek Akerboom is a PhD-Candidate within the research group on Public Sector Management. Her research focuses on the role of public leadership in organizational change, collaborative networks and attaining public value. Extension number 6690.
Moniek graduated from Leiden University in the fields of Public Administration and Crisis and Security Management (cum laude). During her studies, Moniek was involved in various research projects as a student-assistant. After her graduation, she continued working at Leiden University as a tutor for the Bachelor’s program Security Studies. In this position, she was involved in various research projects on security governance.
