Minke Krijnen is PhD candidate at the programme group of Educational Sciences. Before starting her PhD research, she completed the research master ‘Development and Socialization in Childhood and Adolescence’ at Utrecht University.
Research
Minke’s PhD research concerns democratic citizenship in grade 4-6 of elementary education. In this project, she studies how teacher practices could foster informal democratic citizenship learning. This research is a joint project of researchers from Leiden University and Utrecht University.
