Mark Noort joined the department of business studies at Leiden Law School in September 2020 to commence teaching and researching on topics related on the cross-section of law and psychology, with emphasis on organisational behaviour, culture and organisational decline.
Mark Noort investigates how people create (un)safe and (in)secure outcomes through the way they think and act in relationship to organisational and societal risks.
In his role as Assistant Professor at Leiden University and visiting lecturer at the London School of Economics and political science he teaches on topics such as risk management, organisational behaviour and organisational culture. In this he applies over 10 years’ experience in safety science (and risk management more broadly) across academia and aviation. Detailed information is available on his LinkedIn and ResearchGate pages.
