Profile
My research is part of the Don’t be late! project, an NWO subsidised project which consists of three work packages with the aim of early identification of (mild) cognitive impairments in people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and offering an intervention focused on improving quality of life. I am working on the second work package of Don’t be late!, looking at the effect of a lifestyle intervention (personal fitness training, mental coaching, and dietary advice, in combination with a cognitive training) on primarily quality of life. We are also interested in the effect the intervention has on cognition and brain measures (measured with (f)MRI). The Don’t be late! project is a consortium project, taking place mostly at the Amsterdam UMC.
