Van den Heuvel is involved with teaching and developing the education of the master Clinical Neuropsychology.
Short CV
Van den Heuvel completed her master in Psychology at Utrecht University (2000). From 2001-2005, she was working at the Leids University Medical Center (LUMC) as a neuropsychologist and PhD student. In 2005 she received her PhD. Her dissertation was entitled: “a longitudinal study on causes and consequences of white matter hyperintensities in the elderly”. In 2005 she started working at the National Institutes of Health (National Institute of Aging, Laboratory of Epidemiology, Demography and Demography). In 2008 she was registered as professional health-care psychologist and sice 2013 as Clinical Neurospsychologist|Psychological specialist. Currently, she is conducting research and is developing and teaching master education as an assistant professor at Leiven University. Next to that, Van den Heuvel is working as a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Basalt (rehabilitation centre).
