Charlotte Boin is PhD candidate Governance of Crisis at the Institute of Security and Global Affairs. Her research pertains to the adaptive capacity of communities whose physical environment is threatened by climate change. She combines her PhD research with her work as a crisis management researcher for the Dutch Institute for Public Safety.
