Governance of Crises
The research group on governance of crises studies phenomena, dynamics and actors related to crisis governance. The Leiden University Crisis Research Center (CRC) is part of this Research Group.
The research group employs a multi-actor perspective to study crisis preparation, prevention, response, recovery and accountability. Transboundary crises have its special interest. The research group also studies the role new tecnologies and citizens can play in the various phases of the governance of crises. The research group has a strong policy-orientation while intergrating the cutting edge of crisis research into its academic products.
