Short CV
Anna Lotz graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology (2014) and a master’s degree for the master program Brain and Cognitive Sciences (2016). Between 2016 and 2021 she did her PhD research in the project Father Trials. Within this project she focused on the neurobiological, endocrine, and behavioral aspects of prenatal and postnatal parenting in fathers.
Anna is fascinated by the neurobiological mechanisms of parenting behavior. By studying the endocrine and neural aspects of parenting behavior, she aims to understand the biological processes behind differences in parenting behavior. Moreover, she wants to use this knowledge to explore possible tools, such as dance and music, to promote parent-child interactions and the quality of parenting behavior.
