More information about Andreas Krogull
I'm a historical sociolinguist with a particular research interest in the history of Dutch. In 2018 I obtained my PhD at the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics (LUCL) with a thesis on the early 19th-century Dutch language policy and its effects on actual language usage. After my first postdoctoral position on an interdisciplinary project on multilingualism at the University of Cambridge, I'm back in Leiden as a postdoc on the NWO-funded project 'Pardon my French? Dutch-French Language Contact in The Netherlands, 1500-1900'. As a lecturer in Dutch linguistics I have taught various courses at both BA and MA level.
