Professional experience
In 2024, Aaron completed his MSc in Industrial Ecology at Leiden University and Delft University of Technology. In his master's thesis, he examined the inequality of environmental footprints across income groups in the EU. Before this, he worked as a researcher at the University of Kassel, focusing on decarbonization strategies for companies. He also holds an MSc and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the universities of Kassel and Rostock, Germany.
Research topic
Aaron works on coupling prospective Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) with dynamic Material Flow Analysis (MFA) and System Dynamics to assess the future environmental sustainability of large-scale economic systems. His research aims to create prospective spatiotemporal life cycle inventories and evaluate mitigation scenarios against global sustainability targets. For any questions, you are most welcome to contact him.
