THRIVE Study
Towards Health and Resilience in Volatile Environments - People differ in how they are impacted by and respond to stressful experiences. Why is that?
The goal of this longitudinal study is to better understand why some people are less impacted by stressful experiences than others and to identify protective factors that may help individuals cope better with future stressors.
Specifically, we investigate three factors that may play a role in stress resilience:
- Positive memories of past experiences
- Positive self-image
- Reduced reactions to future stressors
