Hybrid Symposium: Medieval miniatures from Byvanck to the RKD. 18 March 2025, Den Haag.
The Byvanck database contains descriptions of nearly 3,000 illuminated manuscripts in Dutch collections as well as around 1,000 manuscripts in foreign collections that were created within the borders of the present-day Netherlands. The entire database has recently been integrated into RKD Research, making this rich collection of medieval manuscripts and their illustrations available online for everyone to study and enjoy.
To mark this important milestone, the RKD is organising a hybrid symposium on 18 March 2025, in the National Library of the Netherlands, Den Haag.
