Research Seminar: Between Myth and Reality: Rules Of Observance As Texts Of Life In The High Middle Ages (RUG, 11 March 2024)
On the occasion of the appearance of the monograph "Varieties of the Self.Peter Abelard and the Mental Architecture of the Paraclete" written by Babette Hellemans and published at Brill in 2023, a workshop will be organized concerning rules of observance as ‘texts of life’ in ascetic communities. The workshop will take place on March 11, 2024. Research Master students can obtain 2 ECTS by attending and completing an assignment.
