Activities
- prevention of truancy, absenteeism, and dropout
- Prevention of juvenile delinquency
- Promoting safety and security in school communities,  buildings and school grounds
- Developing behavioural codes conduct

Examples of projects
- In co-operation with the National Football Association PLATO developed a training course for young hooligans in the age range from 12-18, who misbehave in a football context (during matches, before, or after)
- Educational support of practice teachers in lower secondary vocational education
- Research in the area of inclusive education.
