
Quality of master’s programme rated in Keuzegids 2025
Leiden University’s Master’s in Advanced Studies in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration is one of the 15 ‘excellent master’s programmes’ at Dutch universities. This is according to the Keuzegids consumer guide to master’s programmes for 2025.
Excellent programme in The Hague
The Master’s in Advanced Studies in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration (Leiden Law School, taught in The Hague) was rated well above average by students in all categories (content, teaching staff, assessment, career preparation and atmosphere), and is thus deemed excellent. Other master’s programmes at Leiden University also did well, scoring above average, including:
- History (research) (Humanities)
- Health, Ageing and Society (LUMC)
- Child Law (Law)
- Classics and Ancient Civilisations (Humanities)
- Classics and Ancient Civilisations (research) (Humanities)
The Keuzegids masters consumer guide rates all master’s programmes in the Netherlands at universities of applied sciences and research universities. The scores are based in part on student assessments from the National Student Survey, which students complete each year. An independent guide for students, Keuzegids rates over 1,250 master’s programmes in the Netherlands.

Keuzegids universiteiten 2025, a guide to bachelor’s programmes, was published earlier this year and awards six bachelor’s programmes at Leiden University the title of top bachelor’s programme.
