College of Europe postgraduate programmes presented by Pierre Bachelier
On 7 November, the Europe Hub welcomed Pierre Bachelier, Director of Student Affairs at the College of Europe, to Leiden University. Mr Bachelier presented the College of Europe's postgraduate programmes that Leiden University students can take once they have completed their master's degrees.
This event brought together students from the four faculties that make up the Europe Hub (Governance and Global Affairs, Humanities, Law and Social and Behavioural Sciences). It offered a unique perspective on the College of Europe experience, as well as practical information on the selection procedure.
This event illustrated our fruitful collaboration with the College of Europe and is part of the Hub's ongoing efforts to build partnerships with other higher education institutions.
The College of Europe was founded in 1949 with the aim of promoting and fostering European integration. The College now has campuses in Bruges (Belgium), Natolin (Warsaw, Poland) and Tirana (Albania) and each year welcomes students from over 50 countries who aspire to pursue European and international careers. Over 70% of students benefit from scholarship support from their national and regional governments, private bodies and the College of Europe itself, thanks to support from European institutions. A range of scholarships are available to Dutch students.
