On 29 April, doctoral researcher Sophie Vériter will join the annual Ralf Dahrendorf Memorial Lecture at St Antony’s College, Oxford University as a discussant.
The Annual Ralf Dahrendorf Memorial Lecture is delivered by leading thinkers on a subject related to Ralf Dahrendorf’s concerns. This year, Catherine de Vries (Bocconi University) will deliver the lecture on What do European citizens want the EU to be?, with Timothy Garton Ash (Oxford University) as Chair and Matthew Goodwin (University of Kent/Legatum Institute) and Sophie Vériter (Institute of Security and Global Affairs, Leiden University) as discussants.
The event will be hosted online on Zoom – for more information and registration, please visit the website.
Sophie’s participation in the lecture builds on her work as part of the Europe’s Stories project, which objective is to better understand what stories Europe tells and should tell in the 21st century, in particular from young Europeans’ perspective.
