FGGA honours studenten visit EU and NATO
Students of the second year of Tackling Global Challenges were in Brussels to pay the yearly visit to the European Parliament and the European Commission and for the first time the NATO in Mons.
This year the programme was organized by Honours student Diana Cojocaru together with Honours students Pablo Ilgemann and Ariel Mendelsohn. They choose the institutions and topics by consulting the participating group of students.
The topic spoke with the Romanian member of the European Parliament about the decisionmaking proces with 28 member states. The topics discussed with different experts of the European Commission were migration migration policy and the division of legal power between the EU and member states. The NATO explained the alliance with the 29 current members and offered a down-to-earth and realistic view on the world and ongoing conflicts.
Honours programme
The FGGA Honours programme offers yearly 80 places to motivated students of a high variety of faculties, studies, nationalities and type of affinity with het challenges our world is facing. Out of 80 students 53 students took part in the Brussels trip.
