Guest lecture by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg
On 19 April NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, will talk to students about 'Adapting NATO adapts to a changing world', followed by a Q&A.
The moderator of this event is Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, Professor of International Relations and Practice of Diplomacy at Leiden University and former Secretary General of NATO.
Jens Stoltenberg
Before becoming the 13th Secretary General of NATO in 2014, Jens Stoltenberg was Member of Parliament from 1991-2014 and served as Prime Minister of Norway twice, from 2000-2001 and from 2005-2013. In addition to his role as Secretary General he holds a number of international assignments, these include chairing of the UN High-level Panel on System-wide Coherence and the High-level Advisory Group on Climate Change Financing. He was also UN Special Envoy on Climate Change.
