Book presentation ‘Fit for the future?’
The Dutch government chairs the EU council this year. Researchers from Leiden took this opportunity to reflect on the future of the European Union and to give recommendations where possible. The book will be presented on Friday 29 April, 10.15 AM in Nieuws Poort (Den Haag). Attending the event are Ankie Broekers-Knol and Tom de Bruijn.
The book combines different scientific perspectives. It includes contributions of Edwin Bakker, Caspar van den Berg, Jelle van Buuren, Armin Cuyvers, Claartje van Dam, Antoaneta L. Dimitrova, Bas van Eybergen, Richard Griffiths, Giovanni Gruni, Guus Heerma van Voss, Sijbren de Jong, Elitsa Kortenska, Luuk van Middelaar, Jorrit Rijpma, Eduard Schmidt, Bernard Steunenberg, Christa Tobler, Dimiter Toshkov, Jaap Uijlenbroek, Rob W. Ankie Broekers-Knol chairs the First Chamber of the Dutch Parliament and is also a member of the political party VVD. Tom de Bruijn is deputy mayor for the municipality of The Hague and former Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the European Union in Brussels.
