NFP scholarship for Ethiopian PhD candidate
The Ethiopian PhD candidate Yinebeb Nigatu Tessema received a prestigious scholarship from the Netherlands Fellowships Programmes (NFP).
Tessema will conduct research on security and democracy in Post-1991 Ethiopia under the supervision of prof. Madeleine Hosli at the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs. The PhD candidate holds a Master's degree in International Politics - International Relations from the University of Manchester. The NFP is an initiative of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs for professionals to promote capacity building within (non-) governmental organisations in 50 countries. The fellowship is intended to supplement the salary that the fellow should continue to receive during the study period.
