Kunst Kopen met Kennis (campaign UNESCO)

Do you have a heart for art and heritage? And are you perhaps interested in buying art? The Unesco treaty of 1970 combats illegal trade in art and heritage. Despite that, art and heritage continue to be traded illegally more than ever, due to rising conflict, war and internet trade. Even you could unintentionally be a part of this. That is why the Dutch Unesco commission has started a public campaign to try and make prospective art buyers aware of this. On the campaign page you can find tips and background information on how to buy art responsibly. Also check out the general Unesco site to read more about how they try to protect endangered cultural heritage.

Of Leiden University, Evelien Campfens is involved in this campaign.
