The International Institute of Air and Space Law welcomes visiting researchers who would like to spend time with us furthering their (PhD) research. As a visiting researcher, you can make use of our extensive library, our digital resources and the expertise of the Law School’s institutes.

Residence Permit and Fee

Should you wish to stay for more than 3 months, you might need a residence permit. Please check the Service Centre International Staff page. The SCIS provides advice and different types of services to visiting reseachers. The personnel department of Leiden University will handle the application. Please note: The Institute will not cover the costs of a residence permit and a fee for the Visiting Researcher scheme is applicable.
