Private International Law
Education
The Private International Law department offers several courses in the bachelor-, master- and advanced master programs.
Bachelor
As from 2016, the Private International Law department provides a new course in the third year of the bachelor program, in cooperation with the Legal History department: Comparative and Private International Law (‘VIPR’). In addition, there is the Leiden Law Court course ‘European Private International Law in the global context’ (in English).
Master
In the master programs, two courses are provided by the Private International Law department: Private International Law in the Civil law master program, and Private International Law in the Notarial law master program.
Advanced master
In addition, the Private International Law department provides the Private International Law course (in English) in the advanced master International Civil and Commercial Law (ICCL).
