eLaw in Ars Aequi
Privacy continues to keep the attention: from MeToo! to Facebook. The legal magazine 'Ars Aequi' has published a special issue 2019 dedicated to the concept of Privacy. Three contributions originate from eLaw, the center for Law and Digital Technologies at the Faculty of Law.
The three articles discuss Interception of Privacy, Measurement of Privacy and the Right to be forgotten. Many aspects deserve attention and may need to be prohibited in order to ultimately create a safe(r) world while maintaining the fundamental right to privacy.
- Jan-Jaap Oerlemans and Mireille Hagens discuss Privacy concerning Bulk interception in the Dutch Intelligence and Security Services Act (Wiv) 2017 (in Dutch).
- Rob van Eijk and Jaap van den Herik analyse how Web Privacy Measurement evolved.
- Gerrit-Jan Zwenne considers what has happened to the right to be forgotten in the last five years (in Dutch).
