Centre for Governance of Sustainability
Projects
With our research, we aim to enrich academic and practical knowledge on the governance of sustainability, as well as contribute to public debates on these issues. For that purpose, we strive for diversity in our research subjects, research methods and theoretical approaches. Our research covers different jurisdictions, geographies and cultural contexts. Our empirical insights are based on a wide range of methods, including ethnographies, comparative case studies, quantitative surveys, mixed methods, and participatory methods. Taking a highly interdisciplinary approach, we collaborate with researchers from natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and humanities. To better connect academic research with the practice of sustainability governance, we collaborate closely with practitioners working in public and private organizations, both in our research and teaching.
Our projects are various, and involve EU and NWO funded projects as well as projects funded by public and private parties.
