Course fee

€1500 tuition plus travel and accommodation for the field trip to Kigali, Rwanda 4-13 July 2025 (estimated cost €1200 minimum).

Travel to and accommodation in Kigali, Rwanda

Participants make their own travel and accommodation arrangements, making sure they are in Kigali 4-13 July. Information on travel and accommodation options will be provided.

Credits

At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate of participation. An additional statement of 5 ECTS credits can be issued. Please note that the document is not an official transcript and that it is the student’s responsibility to validate the course for credit at their home university.

Application process

The deadline for applications is 1 May 2025. Applicants should send a letter of motivation (500 words maximum) to a.m.de.graaf@hum.leidenuniv.nl. The 15 participants accepted to the programme will be notified by 15 May.
