About the programme
In the Master's programme Crisis and Security Management, specialisation Governance of radicalism, extremism and terrorism we focus on the academic body of knowledge on different form of protests, contention, resistance and violence. We explore and explain the emergence of radical and extremist movement.
We also look at the influence of political, cultural, economic and technological changes in society. By studying historical and current cases of Radicalism, Extremism and Terrorism, you will acquire the analytical skills necessary to analyse new potentially violent movement and actors. Critically discussing the responses by state and societies and there sometime unintended consequences is also an important feature of this track.
