Lorentz Center Public Events
The Lorentz Center organises public events with lectures by internationally renowned scientists.
Every year, more than 3,000 scientists visit the Lorentz Center to work together on solutions to scientific and social problems. The Lorentz Center regularly asks workshop participants to give lectures so that the public can get a glimpse of the world of scientists who come together at the center.
University, museum or Kijkhuis
The location of the event depends on the subject of the lecture. The lectures take place not only at the Lorentz Center and Leiden University, but also at Leiden museums, the Kijkhuis and other (cultural) institutions. One of the partners is the Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, where the Lorentz Center organises a number of lectures each year.
