Short stay living space in development
Leiden University is developing new short stay living space for foreign guests and employees. De Kloksteeg is currently the last of four projects that has been renovated by the Leiden University Real Estate directorate since 2017. The Service Centre International Staff (SCIS) is responsible for rental mediation when it comes to all University Lodges. The Real Estate directorate takes care of the maintenance.
Renovated locations
The Service Centre International Staff (SCIS) is responsible for all rental mediation. The SCIS takes care of the waiting list and matches based on income, family size and waiting time. Then, they nominate a candidate. It concerns short stay and the resident has to be associated with Leiden University. In this way, the living spaces are mainly meant for foreign guest employees. All locations are rented out furnished.
