Lustrum boat

With thanks to our sponsor Rondvaart Leiden, a special lustrum boat will be sailing throughout 2025. Via a booking system, staff and students can plan a boat trip, with private skipper, to tour Leiden and see the city from a different perspective.

What?

  • 30 free boat trips are available for Leiden Law School staff and students
  • After that: throughout the year, all boat trips at half price in our own designated time slot (11.30-13.00)
  • A private boat with skipper will be available. You can indicate in your booking whether you’d like the skipper to act as a guide or if you’d rather use the trip to have a team meeting
  • What if it rains? A covered boat will be used, with heating in autumn and winter
  • You can use the catering service though you will be charged for this

Please note: if you’d like catering on board, this needs to be requested and booked at least three days beforehand. A SAP number must be provided. See below for more information on how to arrange this.

Who can book?

  • All Leiden Law School staff
  • Students who are a member of a faculty study association

Please note: per boat trip – minimum number of persons is 8, maximum capacity 24

When?

  • Monday to Friday (excluding national holidays and depending on availability)
  • In our designated time slot: 11.30-13.00

Tip: book the boat for a lunchtime outing with your department or plan a meeting on the boat.
