Open Science Community Leiden is looking for representatives
Are you a frontrunner at your faculty when it comes to Open Science, or do you want to be? Do you like organising workshops?
The Open Science Community Leiden (OSCL) organizes events like workshops, hackathons, and lunches about open, transparent, accessible and reproducible research (see an overview of events here). Our representatives lead these events for the community, and are uniquely positioned to listen to the perspectives of community members (knowledge, experiences, bottom-up initiatives, etc.) and voice these in their collaboration with faculty wide policy groups (e.g., Academia in motion). This format has started successfully in the faculty of Social Sciences, and now we are looking for representatives who want to be the face of the community at their own faculty.
As an OSCL representative, you will actively soak up experiences in your faculty to be our local source of information to inform top down policy. Apply by sending an email with a short motivation to OSCL@leidenuniv.nl!
