Het Utrecht Centre for Medieval Studies nodigt PhD's en andere early-career-onderzoekers uit om hun onderzoek te presenteren op de landelijke Mediëvistendag 2023. Deadline voor abstracts: 30 september.
Call for papers Medieval Studies’ Day 2023
The theme of the Research School for Medieval Studies’ Medieval Studies’ Day 2023 (Universiteit Utrecht, 3 November 2023) is Public Engagement. The Medieval Studies’ Day will focus on engaging the public in thinking about why the medieval matters to contemporary society.
For the day, we also welcome 15-minute papers on topics connected to the theme, with a medieval focus, in all humanities disciplines. We primarily invite proposals from PhD candidates and early career researchers, but other researchers with an affinity for the subject can also submit a proposal.
The Call for Papers is now open and will close on 30 September. There will be room for ten presentations in total. Would you like to present a paper? Please send a title and abstract (max. 250 words), in Dutch or English, to this email address: ucms@uu.nl.
Researchers who will have submitted a proposal will be contacted by the organising committee shortly after 30 September.
