Zulfadhli Nasution is a PhD candidate researching the dynamics of young people and corruption/anti-corruption issues in Indonesia. He holds a dual master degree in development studies from the International Institute of Social Studies the Hague and Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung.

Prior to his current research, he worked on (anti-)corruption issues in Indonesia for more than seven years. In doing so, he focused on sectors such as business, politics, and education, where he predominantly interacted with the younger generation. Now, his PhD research employs an ethnographic approach to explore how young people encounter corruption and anti-corruption in their everyday lives, despite being imagined as anti-corruption vanguards or warriors.
