I started my PhD at Leiden University in March 2018. I graduated with a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy and a MA in Continental Philosophy (both at Warwick University). I then went on to complete my MPhil at KU Leuven, where I stumbled upon and fell in love with Husserl's Phenomenology.
Research
I research on the idea of truth in phenomenological epoche. I am interested in how the different phenomenological theories are united by their effectuation of the epoche. In particular, I am interested in how different epoches can generate different phenomenas. I will be writing on Husserl's and Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology towards this end. Practically, I want to understand whether different phenomenological investigations are in competition with one another, or whether their domain of application are distinct due to the different epoches effectuated.
