Yanan Liang started as a PhD researcher at the department of Industrial Ecology of CML in September 2019.
Professional experience
Yanan Liang received her master’s degree of Engineering (Industrial Engineering) in 2019 at Chengdu University of Technology. During her master’s period, her research mainly focused on dynamic material flow analysis of metals at national scale. She joined Institute of Environmental Sciences (CML) in September 2019 to pursue her doctoral degree.
Research topic
Material flow analysis of critical metals for the low-carbon energy transition: under the 1.5 °C target framework. The objective of her research is to identify possible bottlenecks in the supply of metals required for a rapid transition to a low-carbon energy system.
