Wouter Weeda is Assistant Professor in fMRI methodology and statistics. His research focuses on developing new methods for the analysis of fMRI data and implementing these methods in R. Wouter obtained his Masters degree (cum laude) in Statistical Methods and Neuroscience at the department of Psychology at the University of Amsterdam in 2006. In 2012 he obtained his PhD at the department of Developmental Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. He worked as Assistant Professor and statistical advisor at the Amsterdam School for Communication Research (ASCoR) and as postdoctoral researcher and teacher at the departments of Methods, Clinical Neuropsychology, and Educational Neuroscience at the VU University Amsterdam.
