Theodora Seliniotaki is a junior lecturer. She is a supervisor for the clinical internships of international students in the master Child and Adolescent Psychology.
Education
Since 2022, Seliniotaki is supervising the clinical internships of international students in the master Child and Adolescent Psychology. She provides them supervision and is present during meetings between students and their field supervisors. The international students mostly conduct a clinical internship back in their home country, therefore meetings are often online. Next to that, she reads and grades the reports students write about their clinical internship.
Before supervising internships, Seliniotaki has worked as an assistant coordinator for the course Introduction to Psychology and Social and Organisational Psychology in the International Bachelor of Psychology. She was coordinating between the university professors of the courses and the workgroup teachers.

Short CV
Seliniotaki obtained her bachelor in Psychology at the University of Crete in Greece (2015). She continued with a Master in Stress Management and Health Promotion at the Capaditzric University in Athens (2018). For her thesis, she conducted research on an 8-week stress management protocol for women with breast cancer. After finishing her master’s degree, she worked as a psychologist at an institute for abused children, adolescents and young adults (2019-2020) and as a psychologist in an university hospital, where she provided patients trainings that helped them to go back to their daily life’s (2019-2020). Seliniotaki improved her skills by following psychotherapy courses in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (2020-2022) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR; 2020-onwards). Currently, she is working towards a certification for EMDR therapist. Upon arriving in the Netherlands in 2020, she started working at Leiden University as a workgroup teacher and assistant coordinator, and right now as a supervisor of clinical internships. Next to that, she opened her own clinical practice in 2022.
