Professional experience

In 2020, she completed her Bachelors in Engineering Physics from IIT Bombay in India. She obtained her MSc in Industrial Ecology from Leiden University and TU Delft in 2023. In her master’s thesis she studied the contribution of informal waste sector in plastic waste management in the city of Chennai, India, using a combined qualitative analysis and material flow analysis (MFA).

Research topic

Her PhD research is a part of the FutuRam project, which tries to assess the availability of secondary raw material in waste streams in the EU. In this, she is specifically working on the municipal solid waste (MSW) stream, to assess the quantity and potential recoverability of critical raw materials that end up in MSW incineration ashes.
