Research

In Spinoza there is an intellectually rich relationship between his conception of judgement and his defence in favour of tolerance. I want to investigate this relationship. Particularly, I want to investigate Spinoza’s conception of judgement in his Ethics and in his Treatise on the Emendation of the Intellect in order to relate these findings to Spinoza’s writings on tolerance in his Theological-Political Treatise and his Political Treatise.

I am a PhD candidate at the institute of Philosophy at Leiden University since September 2020. I also finished my Bachelor and Master in philosophy here at Leiden University.
