Siebe Overdijk is a lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Political Science. He teaches on research methods and conducts research on how organisations can detect signals of crises more quickly and thereby better combat crises.

Siebe Overdijk received his bachelor’s degree from Leiden University College The Hague, with a major in World Politics. He completed the MSc Governance of Sustainability at Leiden University and, for his master’s thesis, researched risk management in drought-flood interactions.

Previously, he worked as a consultant at Crisisplan BV and as a lecturer in Public Administration at Leiden University.
