Professional experience

Shijie received his master and bachelor degrees of Mining Engineering from China University of Mining & Technology (Beijing) and Inner Mongolia University of Science & Technology in 2020 and 2017 respectively.

In his master research, the economic advantages and CO₂ emissions reduction potential of China’s coal-fired power plants with carbon capture and storage were systematically evaluated. He also participated in the projects of China-Africa Renewable Energy Technology Transfer supported by United Nations Development Programme and National Assessment Report on Oceans and Climate Change (2016-2020) initiated by State Oceanic Administration, People’s Republic of China.

From October 2020, he entered CML to conduct PhD study.
