Semiha Aydıın is an associate professor at the Department of Developmental & Educational Psychology of the Institute of Psychology at Leiden University. After studying Clinical & Health Psychology at Leiden University, she completed her PhD on the topic of recognising and referring adolescents with psychosocial problems, with a focus on anxiety symptoms. Her project was embedded in the research profile area Health, Prevention and the Human Life Cycle, in which researchers from the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at LUMC and the Faculty of Social Sciences at Leiden University collaborate with clinical institutions close by.
